Our bodies all perform and function differently; however, one thing we all need is rest. The amount of rest we all need is different though, and that is why we also need to learn how to be aware and listen to our bodies. Some people can execute at high performance on six hours of sleep per night; others perform with high quality when they get nine hours of sleep at night. Sometimes, our bodies need different amounts of sleep based on everything going on in our daily lives. When you wake up: notice how you feel, listen to what your body might be whispering or screaming at you, and adjust accordingly to get proper rest.
