When you eat healthy most of the time, it’s a good idea to break out of the routine to give yourself a break (if you want it). Treat Days (Cheat Days) are awesome, but why not use them to your advantage by timing your treat meal to give your body the best results. The best time to get in a treat meal is right after your workout — preferably within 30–60 minutes of your workout. The reason being, your body — having just burned an abundance of calories and tearing the muscles apart— is ready to embrace a high-calorie meal. This high-caloric meal will digest significantly easier and help build your body versus if you get in your treat meal before working out or on a rest day.
